In an exclusive interview with This is Futbol, Paul Stewart, who made 38 appearances for Liverpool, believes that Jadon Sancho would be a great replacement for Mohamed Salah if the Egyptian was to leave this summer.

Salah has long been linked with a move away from Liverpool with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich reportedly linked with a move for the winger, however he is also reportedly happy to stay at Anfield.

Will Salah leave Liverpool this summer?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

The former Chelsea winger has been a revelation since returning to the Premier League under Jurgen Klopp, and he is currently Liverpool’s fourth all-time top scorer in the Premier League.

Speaking on how it would be difficult to replace someone like Salah but how Sancho could be an ideal replacement, Stewart exclusively told This is Futbol:

“It’s going to be hard to replace Salah and there’s something that just makes me think he’s going to leave, and I know there are a lot of people talking about Real Madrid or Barcelona being two of the clubs he could go to.

I think Sancho would be somebody that could come in and do a good job for Liverpool and I think he would be a good signing.”

Who is Liverpool's all-time record goalscorer?

Sancho joined Borussia Dortmund in 2017 and he has never looked back since leaving Manchester City having scored 46 goals and registered 62 assists during his time in Germany.

The England international was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United last summer but the Red Devils refused to meet Dortmund’s valuation of the winger.
