Leeds' all-time top Premier League goalscorer is Mark Viduka but how many did he score?

The journalist then added that if Leeds can get the Spaniard to start more than 30 games next season then he has the ability to “take them to the next level” based on what he has shown on the pitch in the last month.

Cross then ended his post saying that Rodrigo has “posed the most exciting questions” about the 2021/22 season.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds supporters who were quick to share their thoughts on the player and his first season at Elland Road.

So, what did these Leeds fans have to say in response to Cross’ post about Rodrigo?

“Yes absolutely got to start more games next season.”

@SJobdodger

“He’s gunna be awesome next season I’m sure.”

@wowmart1974

“Can tell a mile off he has top quality. Matter of time before he is a constant in that first 11.”

@MJ90113368

“He was great in that win at Villa but that’s when all his injury/illness issues started. Himself & Raphinha should be something to behold next season.”

@giptonboy

“10 behind Bamford”

@tmulraney

“He can only play up top imo. Unfortunately for him Bamford decided to start hitting the back of the net”

@TayWilliams11

Leeds signed Rodrigo back in the 2020 summer transfer window from Spanish club Valencia for a fee of £27 million. During his first season at Elland Road, the 30-year-old, who is currently valued at £18 million, made 26 appearances for Marcelo Bielsa’ side in which he managed to score seven goals and provide two assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

Looking at the replies to this post from Cross, it appears that the majority of these Leeds fans believe in Rodrigo’s ability and that he can improve next season.
