In an exclusive interview with This is Futbol, former Leeds United midfielder David Norris has claimed that Rodrigo De Paul has all the qualities to play for the Yorkshire club, so rumours of him moving to Elland Road could begin to pick up momentum.
De Paul was linked with a move to Leeds last summer as they were preparing to debark on their first season back in the Premier League for 16 years, but a move to Elland Road never materialised.
Will Leeds sign De Paul?
Yes!
No!
The 26-year old could be the ideal signing for Marcelo Bielsa as he looks to add more quality to his side which largely consists of players that got Leeds promoted during the 2019/20 season.
Speaking on how he has all the qualities to be a great player for Leeds and how rumours may begin to gather pace about the midfielder, Norris exclusively told This is Futbol:
“From what I hear and see he seems to have the qualities that Leeds want in their players, and there’s obviously a desire for him to want to come to Leeds and the fans want him here.
“He’s been linked before so I think that one will probably pick up speed the next few weeks and it’ll be interesting to see where that one goes.”
Bielsa will be hopeful of making several signings this summer as he will want to push his side onto greater things than just aiming for a top-half finish.
Leeds’ transfer targets may change slightly this summer if Bielsa does not end up signing a new contract as his current deal is set to expire at the end of the season.
