In an exclusive interview with This is Futbol, former Leeds United star David Norris has claimed that he can’t see his former side bringing in Conor Gallagher on loan from Chelsea this summer.

Gallagher has impressed during his season-long loan spell at West Bromwich Albion which has seen him earn a respectful 6.64 WhoScored rating, but he couldn’t stop the Baggies from being relegated.

Does Gallagher need another loan spell?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

The Chelsea youngster has reportedly already decided where his future lies as he does not want another loan spell next season as he is willing to stay at Stamford Bridge and prove himself to Thomas Tuchel.

Speaking on why Leeds won’t be looking to bring in Gallagher on a temporary basis and how Chelsea won’t send him to a potential rival, Norris exclusively told This is Futbol:

“Why would Leeds get players on loan from Chelsea? They’re not like a West Brom who are just looking to stay up, Leeds are one of the bigger and better clubs.

I don’t see why Leeds would want to take a player on loan from Chelsea because they’re going to be rivals, so I would be surprised if they would be willing to loan players out to each other.”

Leeds' all-time top Premier League goalscorer is Mark Viduka but how many did he score?

Leeds have got Jack Harrison on loan from Manchester City for the third season in a row and he has proved to be both a fan and Marcelo Bielsa favourite with many expecting his deal to become permanent in the summer.

Bielsa’s side have been in impressive form for most of this season but they have only lost once in their last eight games, which was a 2-0 defeat against Brighton.
