Beren Cross has been speaking on a recent video on Leeds United Live’s Twitter page about all things relating to Leeds United.

Leeds' all-time top Premier League goalscorer is Mark Viduka but how many did he score?

One of the topics that he spent some time on was the club’s plans for the summer as they look to build on a season where the lowest they can finish is 11th.

The Whites did invest heavily in the transfer market last summer, but it is clear that this recruitment worked as Leeds currently have 53 points, and with Southampton and West Bromwich Albion to come, they could be very close to that 60-point mark.

However, it doesn’t seem as if the Whites are finished there, and Cross hinted at some exciting plans for the summer and then further into the future as well.

He said: (17:34) “It does get you excited for next season because Radrizzani and [Marathe] are making all the right noises.

“All the things that we hear down the grapevine from Leeds; it’s very, very exciting.

“They are going to spend again this summer, so Marathe and Radrizzani are very ambitious people; the [San Francisco] 49ers are very ambitious people.

“They know that there is so much potential in what this club can do.”

TIF Thoughts on Leeds’ future…

The San Francisco 49ers increased their stake in the Whites earlier this year, and if what Cross says is true, they see a bright future for this football club.

We also see a huge future for Leeds with arguably a world-class manager, Elland Road expansion plans and ambitious owners; everything is pointing in the right direction.

However, it will be interesting to see what they come up with this summer as they look to build on a solid first Premier League season.
