Leeds' all-time top Premier League goalscorer is Mark Viduka but how many did he score?

One of the topics that Stewart picked out while he was talking about this game was Jack Harrison. The 24-year-old, who is valued at £13.5m by Transfermarkt, is coming towards the end of his third season on loan at Elland Road, and he has performed well in the Premier League, in 33 league games, he has scored seven goals and provided six assists.

He has never had a senior England cap, and Stewart feels that if there weren’t so many good wide players available for the Three Lions, then he could have a chance of being a regular.

He said: (12:20) “Jack Harrison is one of those players I feel would, if England weren’t as strong as they are out wide in terms of selection opportunities, Jack Harrison would be strongly in the conversation. But because there are so many people ahead of him, he’s not, but he’s been exceptional.”

Do you think that Harrison should be playing for England?

No, he's good but he isn't that good

TIF Thoughts on Harrison…

Considering this has been Harrison’s first season in the Premier League, he has adapted very well and will end the season with more goals than both of the last two league campaigns. Given they were both spent in the Championship, that is impressive from Harrison, and this shows his improvement.

However, given the competition for places in the England squad, it doesn’t feel as if Harrison is likely to be given an opportunity to shine for England.

He should, though, continue to get the chance to impress for Leeds as the Whites have an option to buy Harrison at the end of this season for just £10m (Football Fan Cast via The Phil Hay Show) and given his form this season, that would be a bargain.
