In an exclusive interview with This is Futbol, Jon Newsome, who made more appearances for Leeds United than he did at any other club, has claimed that Andrea Radrizzani’s job at Elland Road is not finished.

It has emerged that Radrizzani is interested in buying one of the Milan clubs which could be bad news for Leeds as they would potentially lose his hands-on approach to running the club.

Will Leeds finish in the top six next season?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

Radrizzani has overseen Leeds rise from the Championship into the Premier League and he was the man that convinced Marcelo Bielsa to take up the role as their manager despite being in the second division of English football.

Leeds have received external investment from the 49ers, which may have been an early sign that Radrizzani was looking to put his time into other investments, Newsome offered his thoughts on the situation exclusively to This is Futbol:

I was amazed when I read that because I know how invested and hands-on he is at Leeds. It seems to be a full time job running Leeds United and the job that he’s done there has been fantastic.

“The job he’s doing at Leeds United is nowhere near finished. If he wants to invest in a football club, he would have to take a bit more of a back seat at Leeds, because I don’t think he’d be able to give everything to both clubs. For me, just watch this space but I’d be surprised if it happened.”

Starting with an easy one who is Leeds United's top Premier League goalscorer this season?

Leeds have taken to life in the Premier League seamlessly under the watchful eye of Bielsa as they appear to be on course for a top-half finish thanks to the attacking style of play they’ve adopted.

Bielsa will be hoping he can keep hold of his star players such as Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha who have both been linked with moves away from Elland Road this summer.
