To kick off this quiz on Seamus Coleman, what squad number does the right-back currently wear for the Toffees?

One of the topics that he spent some time on was the absence of Tom Davies.

The 22-year-old has played 22 league games this season and has been considered by many to have performed well; however, he has only played four minutes of action in the last two league games.

This has baffled O’Neill, who wonders if something has happened at the training ground.

He said: (18:30) “I’m baffled by the whole Tom Davies situation, to be honest. I was baffled on Saturday that he didn’t start; I was baffled even more when Delph got the nod to come on again over him.

(19:15) “Why is that happening? Is there something behind the scenes that we’re not seeing? Has he got an injury that we don’t know about, and maybe they are managing his games between now and the end of the season. I’m a bit baffled by it.”

Do you think that Davies should be back in the first team?

TIF Thoughts on Davies…

It certainly does seem strange that the Everton man has played in a lot of the games this season, only to suddenly be relegated to the bench.

Ancelotti has not said that he is injured, so perhaps he has just fallen out of favour, which would be a shame given some of the performances that he has turned in this season.

O’Neill clearly thinks that Davies should be involved, and it will be interesting to see what happens in the Toffees’ remaining fixtures as they look to try and finish the season strongly, and it would be great to see Davies return to the starting XI.
