Former Crystal Palace striker Marcus Bent believes that a move to Selhurst Park would appeal to Juventus star Aaron Ramsey.

Ramsey has endured a difficult season in Serie A this season.

The Wales international has made 22 appearances in the league, of which just 13 have been starts.

He is on a gigantic contract in Italy, earning £400,000-per-week following his free transfer from Arsenal back in 2019.

His contract does not expire until 2023 but he has been linked with a transfer this summer, with both Palace and West Ham United touted with a potential interest.

Bent believes Ramsey would be willing to return to London after his spell with the Gunners, and thinks that a move to Palace could be ideal.

Speaking exclusively to This Is Futbol, the former striker said: “Aaron Ramsey has been wafted about as well. That’s a player in itself. I think dropping down in a sense, is he doing well at Juve? Coming back to London, I think that’d be good for him.”

Ramsey spent a total of 11 years at Arsenal, winning the FA Cup three times, prior to his move to Juve.

Since then, he has also picked up a Serie A winner’s medal, while also winning the Coppa Italia.
