Former Leeds United player David Norris has been speaking exclusively to Football FanCast to discuss a whole range of Premier League topics.

One topic of discussion was the future of Leeds’ Ezgjan Alioski amid rumours surrounding his future with the Yorkshire side.

Will you be happy if Alioski leaves this summer?

No

According to Football Insider, the 29-year-old is expected to depart in the summer for Turkish side Galatasaray.

The North Macedonian has played a huge role in Leeds’ Premier League side this season having racked up 33 appearances in the league for Marcelo Bielsa this campaign (via Transfermarkt).

The 29-year-old has also netted on two occasions in the league this season as well as providing two assists. However, Norris does feel that it is inevitable that the left-back will leave this summer.

He said: “Yeah, Alioski is definitely going to be leaving. So, with him off I wouldn’t be surprised to see someone new come in.”

TIF Thoughts on Norris’ comments…

It seems Norris believes the departure of Alioski this summer is inevitable and is already suggesting the club should be targeting a replacement for the 29-year-old ahead of the summer market.

Alioski has played a huge role in the Leeds side this season so it will be a shame from their point of view to lose a regular starter on a free transfer with the transfer funds of football sides expected to take an impact this summer.

If the North Macedonian does leave this summer, it will be interesting to see who Leeds try to replace him with, with Nicolas Tagliafico and Romain Perraud linked with a move to Elland Road.
