Leeds United fans on Twitter have been responding to a report linking the club with a move for midfielder Okay Yokuslu.

This comes after Leeds journalist shared a post on his Twitter page relaying news originally published in an article from Spanish outlet Faro De Vigo (via Sport Witness).

Leeds' all-time top Premier League goalscorer is Mark Viduka but how many did he score?

The article claims that Leeds are reportedly interested in signing Yokuslu, who is currently on loan at West Bromwich Albion until the end of June.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on this latest update.

So, what did these Leeds fans have to say in response to this latest transfer news linking the club with Yokuslu?

“Don’t let him anywhere near Leeds”

@kennylufc1

“Nope nope nope. Not the level we need. Next…..”

@leegrecruiter

“Let’s aim higher please….”

@mikewhorley

“Eh I’d pass on that, doesn’t seem to be that good”

@LUFC_Llorente

“oh please no”

@Ronan1919

“Not been impressed with him, but I could say that about most of our squad before got involved.”

@_LamNam_

“Really? give me a break… “quality not quantity”

@twihackelebum

Looking at the replies to this post, it appears that these Leeds fans are not particularly excited by the prospect of their club signing Yokuslu this summer.

Given how the midfielder managed to end the season as West Brom’s joint-highest-rated player alongside Matheus Pereira with an overall rating of 6.96/10 according to WhoScored, perhaps these Leeds fans are underestimating Yokuslu’s ability.

Would you like to see Leeds make a move for Okay Yokuslu this summer?

No

In our view, with current Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips suffering a couple of injuries this season, perhaps bringing in Yokuslu to provide a suitable backup option for the Englishman could be a clever move from Leeds.
