Leeds United fans have been reacting to the latest injury news to come out ahead of their clash with West Bromwich Albion.
The game itself doesn’t have that much significance, with Leeds only able to move up the league table this weekend (other results depending), which is worth roughly £2m depending on whether they finish 8th or 9th, which in the grand scheme of things isn’t really all that much.
But that doesn’t mean that Leeds will just down tools and not bother to show up, best demonstrated by their results in recent weeks even though there has been nothing left to play for. They come in off the back of three straight wins, scoring nine goals in the process.
However, one player who will be absent from the game will be defender Diego Llorente who is out with a muscle injury, with Marcelo Bielsa saying that he “does not want to risk Llorente aggravating injury he has had this season.”
News that left a number of Leeds fans rather disappointed when they saw it emerge online, as they’ve been so impressed with what they’ve seen this season:
“Llorente has been magnificent in his mini season. Berardi definitely in the back four on Sunday.”
Have you been happy with Llorente's performances?
Yes
No
Although given that the European Championships are just around the corner, you can’t blame Bielsa for being cautious in this situation in a game that doesn’t mean anything.
