Leeds' all-time top Premier League goalscorer is Mark Viduka but how many did he score?

On the subject of his future at Leeds after reports emerged linking the winger with a move away from Elland Road, Raphinha said that he has a contract at the Yorkshire club for “another four years” and isn’t thinking about leaving because he is happy and currently “making others happy.”

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans who were quick to share their responses to this latest update.

So, what did this group of Leeds fans have to say in response to these latest comments from Raphinha?

“Brilliant News!!!”

@notts_sports

“Oh yes!!!!!”

@ourscreatif

GET IIIINNNNN!!!!!! #MOT”

@MRWLeeds

It’s an angry kind of happy & I love it #lufc”

@NGBenj

“Our boy”

@JakeDonohue02

“So many clubs wish they scouted him and had him…. but it ain’t happening…. reason .. our club is managed like a boss!!!”

@Topsyde

Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these Leeds fans are delighted to hear that Raphinha currently has no intentions of leaving the Yorkshire club.

Do you think Raphinha will improve at Leeds?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Given how the 24-year-old, who is currently valued at £22.5 million, managed to score six goals, provide nine assists and ultimately end his debut season with Marcelo Bielsa’s side as their highest-rated player with an overall rating of 7.22/10 (via WhoScored), it’s easy to see why they’d like to see the winger stay at the club for as long as possible.

In our view, while Leeds should hope to keep hold of the Brazilian for as long as they can, if he continues to have impressive seasons with the club, then they should expect other clubs to keep coming in to try and sign him.
