In an exclusive interview with This Is Futbol, David Norris, who made 36 appearances for Leeds United, has revealed that Marcelo Bielsa gets whatever he wants as he pretty much runs the club.

Bielsa was the manager who managed to get Leeds promoted back to the Premier League, as champions as well, after they had spent 16 years outside of England’s top flight.

Leeds have become one of the most entertaining sides to watch in the Premier League, with 0-0 draws hard to come by; the Whites have only been involved in a stalemate three times all season.

Speaking on how Bielsa just gets whatever he asks for at Leeds and why that probably is the best thing for the club, Norris exclusively told FFC:

At Leeds, he has been backed and he runs the club pretty much however he wants and he can just do what he wants, and everyone follows his lead.

The club are happy to do that because he’s proved that it’s the right thing to do, and you just have to look at the job he’s done for proof of that.”

Bielsa has been tipped to take the Tottenham Hotspur job at the end of the season which is when his current contract at Leeds is set to expire.

Leeds have enjoyed an impressive first season back in the Premier League having hardly flirted with relegation all season, despite their squad still having a lot of players from their Championship season.
