Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans have let their thoughts be known on Twitter at the latest claim to emerge surrounding the club’s search for a new permanent manager. 

According to journalist Gianluigi Longari, VfL Wolfsburg manager Oliver Glasner is on Daniel Levy’s shortlist of managers in contention to become the next man on the sideline of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham sacked manager Jose Mourinho last week bringing an end to his 17-month stint at the Lilywhites with the north London side slumped in seventh spot in the Premier League table when he departed the club.

Former midfielder Ryan Mason has taken temporary charge of the N17 side but endured Wembley heartbreak on Sunday in their Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City.

The Austrian manager currently has his Wolfsburg side flying in the Bundesliga as they sit in third place and Spurs fans took to Twitter to hail the claim suggesting interest from Spurs in Glasner.

Other names to be linked with the vacant permanent role include Erik ten Hag, Graham Potter and Massimiliano Allegri to name just a few.

Going by the reaction of these Spurs fans, it is clear to see they are delighted to hear the reported interest in the Austrian manager who has his Bundesliga side two points clear of fifth-placed Borussia Dortmund.
