Laura Bradburn has been speaking on the latest episode of A Celtic State of Mind podcast to discuss all things related to the Parkhead side.
Celtic have been without a permanent manager since February after they parted ways with Neil Lennon to end his second managerial tenure at the club.
John Kennedy is currently the interim manager; however, there have been many names linked to succeeding him come to the end of the season.
One name which has been heavily linked with the job at Parkhead is Eddie Howe, but recent reports have suggested a deal for the 43-year-old is not close to being done.

Discussing the former Bournemouth manager’s situation, Bradburn insisted she was not put off by Howe taking his time to assess his options.
She said: “The one thing I would say is I’m not as negative about it being a back and forth for Eddie Howe, and it being more difficult to convince him to come, because that suggests to me that he’s quite principled, and that’s what I would look for in a manager going forward.
“I also think it’s no bad thing to have a manager who’s looking at other options, because that suggests he has other options. And if he does have other options, then he must be a desirable candidate for any club. And those are the type of people we should be going after.
“You don’t want to be going after somebody that nobody else will touch with a bargepole. I can think of one other person we’ve spoken [about] that might come into that category.”
TIF Thoughts on Bradburn’s comments…
Bradburn is right to point out interest from other clubs should encourage Celtic that Howe’s stock has not suffered despite being relegated from the Premier League in his last season on the south coast.
On the other hand, if Howe is the man Celtic want then they cannot afford to be too relaxed in their approach with other clubs said to be interested in him.
Celtic have shown some progression in moving forward after appointing Dominic McKay as chief executive earlier than initially expected, but Kennedy has already told the Celtic fans to remain calm in the club’s search for a new manager.
Given Kennedy’s plea, it could make for an antagonising wait for the Celtic fans.
