Lots of Celtic fans voiced their anger on Twitter at the display of Odsonne Edouard in their game against Aberdeen on Wednesday night in the Scottish Premiership.

The French striker is the subject to a lot of transfer speculation ahead of this summer’s transfer window with Leicester City said to be interested in the 23-year-old.

Edouard has shone for Celtic this season in the Scottish Premiership having netted 16 goals in his 27 appearances for the Bhoys but he failed to find the back of the net against the Dons on Wednesday night.

Celtic fans flocked to Twitter to give their thoughts on the Frenchman’s performance with many of them left frustrated by what they saw.

“Get Edouard off the park right now. Benched for the rest of the season”

“Odsonne Edouard should not play a single second of football more this season. If anything, the more people watch him his stock falls further.”
“Edouard shouldn’t even be wearing the jersey never mind being on the pitch, he’s spat the dummy out when he didn’t get his way. Just Look at his body language the last few games”

The draw against Stephen Glass’s Aberdeen has not dented their hopes of finishing second this season with the Parkhead side still holding a 14-point cushion over third-placed Hibernian.

Going off the reaction of these Celtic fans it is evident they were left angered by the Frenchman in the game against Aberdeen with the Bhoys having to rely on substitute Leigh Griffiths to find an equaliser.
