Lots of Celtic fans have voiced their thoughts on Twitter at the latest news to emerge in their search for a new permanent manager.

The Parkhead side has been in need of a permanent manager since they parted ways with Neil Lennon in February, which saw John Kennedy appointed as their interim boss.

The latest name to be linked with the vacant role is that of the former Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho, just days after the Portuguese manager was sacked by the north London side on Monday – as The Sun alleges he has ‘entered the race’ to become a potential successor to Lennon.

Should Celtic enquire about Mourinho?

Celtic fans flocked to the tweet reporting the claim, with many using it as an opportunity to vent their anger at the idea of Mourinho becoming their permanent manager.

“Not again”

“If this happens i might physically explode”

The 58-year-old was sacked by Daniel Levy after just 17 months in charge of the Lilywhites and in the same week as their Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.

Despite the success Mourinho has had in the past, having won the Champions League twice as well as three Premier League titles, it was apparent from the response of these Celtic fans the idea was not a welcome one.
