A lot of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration at defender Jonjoe Kenny following his comments ahead of their game on Saturday against Livingston.
The defender, who is currently on loan at the Bhoys until the end of the 2020/21 season from Premier League side Everton, said: “As players, we have to keep doing our job and that’s performing day in, day out and to try get the wins at the weekend.”
The 24-year-old has made nine appearances for the Hoops in the Scottish Premiership this season and has managed to grab himself an assist in those games (via Transfermarkt).

However, it would appear the Englishman has not left a great impression on the Celtic faithful, who slammed the right-back in response to his pre-game comments.
“And can you tell Jonjoe not to give away daft corners, cos we can’t defend set pieces.”
The comments from Kenny continued to draw in the Bhoys to show their frustration.
Going off the response of the Celtic fans it seems they would not want the club to pursue the player on a permanent deal at the end of his loan, amid speculation of his Everton exit.
