Celtic fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest comments made by Hoops full-back Greg Taylor.
This comes after the official Celtic Twitter account shared a post on their page that relaying comments made by Taylor to the media in a recent press conference ahead of the club’s SPFL clash against Aberdeen on Wednesday night.
During the press conference, Taylor said that he is expecting a tough challenge in midweek against Aberdeen and that they need to focus on each game as it comes and finish the season as strongly as possible.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Hoops fans who were not shy in airing their thoughts on what the defender had to say.
So, what did these Celtic fans have to say in response to Taylor’s latest comments ahead of the Aberdeen game?
“Just end the season now”
“End the season well please Celtic even though it means nothing”
“Literally means nothing will continue to play same players instead of giving chances to others ahead of next season. If you done your talking on the park we might have actually won something this season.”
“I’d be scared to show my face after Sunday’s performance. Abysmal.”
“It’s like a broken record”
“Stop tweeting unless its a new manager”
Looking at the replies to this post, it seems that these Celtic fans aren’t particularly excited or interested in what Taylor has said about the Aberdeen game.
Do you think Celtic will beat Aberdeen in midweek?
Considering how far the Bhoys have fallen behind Rangers at the top of the SPFL table this season and were recently knocked out of the Scottish Cup by Steven Gerrard’s side, it’s understandable why these Hoops fans may not have much motivation or interest in any of the club’s remaining games this season.
Moving forward, it seems that the focus from these Hoops fans is now on next season and hopefully seeing their team have a better campaign than they have had this year.
