Celtic fans have been reacting to claims that forward Patryk Klimala could be on the move to Major League Soccer.

The 22-year-old Pole, valued at £1.8m on Transfermarkt, who only signed for the club last January, hasn’t had the best of times at Celtic Park, only scoring 3 goals in his 28 appearances in all competitions, and not finding the net at all since October.

Now though it seems as if his nightmare could be about to come to an end. A report in The Glasgow Times claims that New York Red Bulls are interested in bringing him on board, with the report later claiming: “Klimala’s representatives have already opened a dialogue with both Celts and Red Bulls over a potential move.”

This news was pretty much music to the ears of these supporters when it was relayed to them via the Glasgow Celtic Champions Facebook page, as they were happy to see him leave following his poor showing for the club:

Has Klimala been a waste of money?

And with the MLS window remaining open until 1st June, the deal is free to happen at any time until then, so they may not have to wait until the summer to get rid of him.
