Lots of Celtic fans have been raging at a video involving John Kennedy that emerged on social media.
The official Celtic Twitter account recently relayed a video involving Kennedy following the Hoops’ 1-1 draw against Aberdeen in the Premiership.
The interim boss accused Celtic of missing too many chances and they had to keep working the Aberdeen defence to break them down. He believes that ideally, Celtic should’ve won the game considering the chances they managed to create.
Has Kennedy done well as Celtic manager?
The video involving the Scotsman caught the attention of many Celtic supporters, who were fuming at Kennedy.
What did Celtic fans make of the Kennedy video?
“Pathetic from Kennedy, same as all season, thinks a point is enough to take from the game.”
“The only positive we can take is that he won’t be in charge for long. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.”
Kristoffer Ajer was the highest-rated player in the game for the Hoops, which shows that perhaps the attacking players weren’t exceptional. David Turnbull impressed, picking up a rating of 7.5 (as per WhoScored).
The Hoops’ rating stood at 6.76, which was greater than Aberdeen’s rating of 6.45. They had 64.9% of possession, but they registered only three shots on target (as per WhoScored).
“Stop playing individuals who are leaving. The league is done. Develop the next chapter of this team.“
“To say that John Kennedy lacks passion would be the understatement of all time…“
These Celtic fans are fuming at Kennedy, which shows that they aren’t keen on having him as the manager.
This draw against Aberdeen comes days after a loss to Rangers in the Scottish Cup, ending Celtic’s chances of winning a trophy this season. They had previously failed to beat Dundee United in the Premiership as well (as per Transfermarkt).
The results haven’t been overly impressive and considering that Kennedy was part of Neil Lennon’s staff earlier in the campaign as well, it is perhaps understandable why Celtic fans don’t have a liking for him.
