Celtic fans have been reacting to the latest news regarding the Scottish Cup.

They got their cup campaign off to a very good start yesterday with a 3-0 victory at Celtic Park over Falkirk, and with the league season pretty much over and done with, being able to come away from this season by winning the cup for a record fifth year in a row might be the only way to salvage some credibility from this season.

Goals from James Forrest, Ryan Christie and Mohamed Elyounoussi saw the hosts ease through on Saturday evening.

They may be forced to progress further the hard way though, as news came through this afternoon that they will face either Rangers or Cove Rangers in the fourth round away from home. Cove find themselves 2nd in Scottish League one at the moment, and given how well Steven Gerrard’s men have been doing, there’s only one way the fans saw this game going, and it left them feeling considerably downbeat:

“You have got to be kidding me”

“Inevitable”
“Aw naw”

“This is going to be the first season in donkeys that Celtic go a whole season without a trophy”

“The season from hell continues”
“Spanking inbound”

Do you think Celtic are the favourites to win the Scottish Cup?

Surely!

Surely!

I don't think so

I don't think so

It certainly will be an interesting affair should the Ibrox outfit make it through, with Celtic’s season more or less on the line.
