Celtic fans, can you get 8/8 on this quiz on forgotten players? First up: who is this?

Hammond had been in the post for 17 months and his exit comes after it has been confirmed that Lawwell and club captain Scott Brown are also departing. Celtic are also in the hunt for a new manager.

The Hoops are also said to be eyeing a director of football, with Fergal Harkin said to be one of the targets to take over. All of this suggests that the Hoops are heading towards a massive structural change.

A lot of these Celtic fans are happy about Hammond’s exit and they’re making their views clear about it.

Some of the signings that Hammond made have been described as ‘underwhelming‘. Vasilis Barkas was signed from AEK Athens for £5 million but he hasn’t been in form. Meanwhile, the signings of Shane Duffy, Albian Ajeti and Patryk Klimala have been considered disappointing signings.

This clearly suggests that in the eyes of some, Hammond didn’t do a great job in recent seasons and because of that, it is understandable why Celtic fans aren’t disappointed about his exit.
