Lots of Celtic fans have been talking about Lucien Favre after news emerged about the Swiss manager.

Football Insider has recently reported about Favre, saying that after Celtic learnt of Eddie Howe’s plans of not returning to management until the summer, the Hoops have initiated contact with the former Borussia Dortmund boss.

Favre has previously been on Celtic’s shortlist and they now seem to have made an approach for him, with the report saying that the Hoops hierarchy don’t feel that Howe is willing to deal with the pressure that comes with the Parkhead job.

The Swiss manager picked up an impressive 2.01 points-per-match tally at Dortmund as well, helping preach a brand of football that is attacking and dynamic.

While some of these Celtic fans would want Favre at Parkhead and one fan rates him higher than Howe.

Having said that, Howe has made certain demands to Celtic and he has sought certain assurances before he manages at Parkhead.

So perhaps, the Hoops should meet the Englishman’s demands and stick to hiring him.
