The article from the journalist also said that Howe is willing to stick with the club’s current coaches, John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan, but wants Bournemouth technical director Richard Hughes to join him in Glasgow.

A lot of these Celtic fans are angry about the fact that Kennedy can stay at the club and they clearly don’t want him at Parkhead any longer.

Having said that, the Hoops have already lost experienced figureheads like Peter Lawwell, Neil Lennon and Nick Hammond. Scott Brown will also depart at the end of the season to join Aberdeen.

Kennedy has worked at Celtic in various capacities in the past and he might be able to help Howe understand the club more. So the decision to keep the Scotsman may make sense for Howe.
