Loads of Celtic fans have been fuming after news involving John Kennedy recently emerged on social media.
Journalist Stephen McGowan has recently tweeted about Eddie Howe’s potential move to Celtic, saying that the Englishman has been contacted by the Hoops, who are closing in on a deal for him.
The article from the journalist also said that Howe is willing to stick with the club’s current coaches, John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan, but wants Bournemouth technical director Richard Hughes to join him in Glasgow.
Should Kennedy be part of Howe's coaching staff?
This update involving Kennedy left many Celtic fans angry. They took to McGowan’s tweet and made their views clear.
What did Celtic fans make of the news about Kennedy?
“If he sticks with Strachan and Kennedy then that’s a massive mistake before he’s even walked in the door. Get rid of them both.“
The report about Howe states that the former Bournemouth boss has held face-to-face talks with Dermot Desmond in London about the managerial opening at Parkhead and the Englishman is now ready to commit to managing Celtic if his demands about a structural reshape are met.
Mark Burchill is also in line for a scouting role at Parkhead, after Nick Hammond departed.
“Kennedy and Strachan must go.“
A lot of these Celtic fans are angry about the fact that Kennedy can stay at the club and they clearly don’t want him at Parkhead any longer.
Kennedy has worked at Celtic in various capacities in the past and he might be able to help Howe understand the club more. So the decision to keep the Scotsman may make sense for Howe.
