In an exclusive interview with This Is Futbol, Marlon Harewood, who made 164 appearances for West Ham, believes his former side are good enough to cope without Michail Antonio but does admit he makes them a better side.

Antonio pulled up with an injury during West Ham’s 3-2 win against Wolves and it has been reported that their top scorer is likely to miss the remainder of the season with a hamstring injury.

Will West Ham make top four without Antonio

Yes!

Yes!

No!

The £70,000 per week striker has been in fine form this season scoring 12 goal involvements for the Hammers, and he has been a big reason as to how they’re pushing to qualify for the Champions League.

Speaking on how West Ham can cope without Michail Antonio and why it’s important that West Ham don’t just rely on him for goals, Harewood told This Is Futbol:

“He’s a massive plus when they’ve got him on the field but they’ve had to adapt with not having him on the pitch.

“They have scored quite a few goals without him which is good for the team because it shows that they’re not just relying on Antonio, but at the same time he’s a big plus when they have him fit.”

Nice easy one to start off with. How much do you think Declan Rice is worth?

David Moyes decided to not sign a striker in January despite selling their back up and record signing Sebastien Haller to Ajax.

West Ham have put themselves in pole position to finish in the top four as they currently have a one-point gap to Chelsea ahead of the Hammers’ trip to Newcastle United.
