Spurs have had quite a few odd players over the last ten years, but can you remember them? Here is the first one, who is this former Tottenham man?

However, after Ryan Mason chose to start the right-back in the 1-0 Carabao Cup final loss against Manchester City, fans of Tottenham appeared far from happy with the display of the Ivory Coast international, with many taking to to share their feelings on the performance of the £18 million-rated man.

Should Spurs sell Aurier this summer?

So, what exactly did these Tottenham Hotspur fans have to say in reaction to the performance of Serge Aurier?

“What was Aurier thinking giving away that free-kick?”

“Dier, Toby, Hugo, Hojbjerg, should hold their heads high. Sissoko, Aurier, GLC. Please never put a Spurs shirt on again.”

“Why is Aurier making that stupid challenge anyway? Brainless yet again from him.”

“Get rid of Aurier right now.”

“How many times has Aurier cost us games?”

“Aurier please get out of this club. You are dreadful.”

“Aurier giving away a stupid free-kick. Get him gone.”

All in all, it would appear if these Tottenham Hotspur fans were furious with Aurier’s display on Sunday, and considering the fact that the defender lost possession of the ball 13 times and earned a SofaScore match rating of 6.7, it is not difficult to understand why.
