Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to the performance of Giovani Lo Celso during their game against Southampton.
It’s the start of a new era somewhat in North London, with Ryan Mason taking charge of his first game as interim head coach following the departure of Jose Mourinho, with plenty on the line as they look to hold on to their faint hopes of Champions League football for next season.
Not only that, but he has to pick a team with one eye on this weekend’s Carabao Cup final, so you’d imagine that the players would be eager to impress to get their name on the team sheet for Sunday.
However, one player who might be playing his way out of the team, at least according to the fans watching at home was Lo Celso, valued at £27m by Transfermarkt, who came in for some heavy criticism from the supporters online, especially after he missed a golden chance to give the home side the lead early on:
“Lo Celso is such a very lazy player leave his man every time”
