Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been reacting on Twitter after a report provided an update on the futures of Harry Winks and Dele Alli.

The England international pair have fallen out of favour under Jose Mourinho this season, with Winks making just seven Premier League starts in 2020/21, while Alli has featured from the off only twice.

Neither man has played a single minute of Spurs’ last three league encounters, leading to increased speculation over their immediate futures in north London.

According to the Daily Mail, Winks and Alli could be allowed to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer depending on whether Mourinho stays or goes, but it appears as though the club’s fans are keen to see the back of the two midfielders either way.

“It shouldn’t depend on Jose. Both need to be moved on regardless. Both have had ample opportunities and have regressed. Move them on! No more chances!”

@thfc81_joe

“Can they both leave whether Jose stays or goes please”

@_10kanee

“I hope not. We need to move both on – if for no other reason than to raise funds. Both have stagnated.”

@seanwconley

“They should leave regardless if Jose is here or not lol”

@Ygjez

“Both finished, cash in on them while they still have some value”

@SpursGlorius

“Both should be binned regardless of whether he stays or goes”

Winks and Alli have a combined market value of 48.6m (as per Transfermarkt), so Tottenham can expect to receive some significant funds if the duo do depart this summer.
