Spurs have had quite a few odd players over the years, but can you remember them? Here is the first one, who is this former Tottenham man?

Romano, speaking on his Here We Go podcast (08:26), claimed that because Spurs have sacked Jose Mourinho, they will no longer be targeting the Slovakian.

This has drawn the attention of these Spurs fans, who are fuming.

Another reason he got rid of Jose, Levy didn’t want to pay for Skriniar…”

@HazSpur92

Oh good so now we’ll get some more Championship quality CBs. We’re really not serious”

@THFCSZN

In other words a cheaper option”

@peter_triplett

Do you think Spurs should try and sign Skriniar?

No, we have no chance

No, we have no chance

Yes, we could get him

Yes, we could get him

Skriniar was the subject of an intense transfer saga last summer, but ultimately, Tottenham failed to match Inter’s price, and Skriniar has played an important role in Inter’s rise to the top of the Serie A league table playing in 29 league games.

This post continued to draw in angry Tottenham fans.

Of course a cheaper options. It’s the Levy way”

@yvesmahripaul

Mourinho wanted 2 other players that we didn’t get… how’d they turn out? our club is a joke”

@Mack_eknee

Yea someone cheap & useless like Lovern … suit levy down to the ground”

@marknels67

“We are a joke and embarrassing.”

@SkeeterSteve

It will be interesting to see who Spurs target in the summer instead of Skriniar, but it is clear that most Tottenham fans think that whoever it will be, they will be cheaper, and that is the only reason they won’t be signing the Inter defender.
