A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a post from Hotspur Related, which has relayed news from Fabrizio Romano regarding Milan Skriniar.
Speaking recently to GiveMeSport (via Football FanCast), Romano claimed that the Inter defender remains a target for Spurs this summer, and the club are convinced he would be the perfect signing, but Inter now want €75m (£63.85m) for the Slovakian.
This has drawn the attention of these Spurs fans, who are not happy.
“This is silly. Why now, why not last time. Stupid decision by the club if true”
“I’ve never hated Levy and Enic more”
“Another Levy masterclass”
Do you think Spurs will sign Skriniar?
No, not a chance
Yes, we will get him
Tottenham tried to sign Skriniar in the last summer transfer window but would not match Inter’s price, and now his value has gone up.
Skriniar has made 30 appearances for Antonio Conte’s side this season in all competitions, so he has played quite an important role, and Inter could win Serie A as they are six points ahead of second, so you can see why Inter have increased their price for the 26-year-old.
This post continued to draw in Tottenham fans who had their say.
“Pleaseeeeee”
“Don’t believe the hype. Spurs will buy some two Bob nobodies.”
“Oh my days”
Tottenham are said to be looking to sign a centre-back this summer, and it seems as if Skriniar would be ideal for them, but you would think the asking price could prove to be tricky given Spurs’ financial situation.
