The Football.London reporter claims that the South Korean wants to remain a Tottenham Hotspur player, and he should have a new sorted by the beginning of next season.

This post has drawn the attention of these Spurs fans, who are delighted.

I really hope this is right. Not sure why he’d want to stay right now, but I’m not knocking it. I hope he knows us fans adore him, and Levy dusts off his wallet to give him mega pay rise”

Son was apparently close to signing a new deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in October last year, but nothing happened.

Now, though, it looks like Son will be extending his stay and looking to build on the 103 goals and 63 assists that he has racked up in his time as a Spurs player.

Clearly, these Spurs fans are delighted, and they continued to react to this tweet.

“If this is true and it’s a huge IF the fantastic news would be Harry is probably looking term if Son wants to stay. Son has no doubt been stalling due to the landscape changing but this would imply a double bubble.”

@BigWards

Son has been in scintillating form for Tottenham all season and has racked up an impressive 18 goals and 16 assists from his 42 appearances in all competitions.
