Spurs have had quite a few odd players over the years, but can you remember them? Here is the first one, who is this former Tottenham man?

The 28-year-old joined Tottenham from the French giants back in the summer of 2017 and went on to play 50 games under Pochettino at Spurs, before the 49-year-old was sacked in November 2019.

However, the Ivory Coast international could now be set for a return to Paris and a reunion with Pochettino, as the Argentine is believed to be keen on a move for the £18 million-rated defender this summer, who has one year remaining on his current contract at Spurs.

And after Hotspur Related relayed the report on Twitter, fans of Tottenham flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing delighted at the prospect of Aurier leaving north London this summer.

All in all, it would seem as if these Tottenham fans would be more than happy for their club to part with Aurier this summer, however, considering the right-back has averaged a rather impressive WhoScored match rating of 6.94/10 over his 16 Premier League appearances so far this season – ranking him as the club’s joint-fifth best performer in the top flight – perhaps they should be careful what they wish for.
