Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed a report that claims Paris Saint-Germain are interested in a move for Spurs right-back Serge Aurier.
According to the report by L’Equipe (via Sport Witness), Aurier would “not be against” a return to PSG this summer, who are believed to be “scouting the market” for a new right-back as loanee Alessandro Florenzi, has not overly impressed during his time at the club.
As such, PSG could look to make a move for Aurier, with The Sun reporting that the 28-year-old could be available for around £12 million in the upcoming transfer window.
And after The Spurs Express relayed the report on Twitter, fans of Tottenham flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing delighted at the prospect of the Ivory Coast international departing north London this summer.
Should Spurs sell Aurier this summer?
Yes
No
So, what exactly did these Tottenham Hotspur fans have to say in reaction to the report regarding Serge Aurier?
“SELL.”
“I wouldn’t be against it either.”
“Happy days!!! See ya.”
“Take the money and run.”
“Bye then.”
“Ok sell him.”
“Wow”
“There is surely no way he can get in that side.”
All in all, it would seem as if these Tottenham Hotspur fans would be more than happy to see the back of Aurier this summer, however, considering the fact that the right-back has actually averaged a rather impressive WhoScored match rating of 6.97/10 over his 17 Premier League appearances so far this season – ranking him as the club’s fourth-best performer in the top flight – perhaps Spurs fans should be careful what they wish for in the upcoming transfer window.
