Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been reacting on Twitter after a report revealed Harry Kane was the only player who remained loyal to Jose Mourinho by the end of his tenure.

The former Manchester United and Chelsea boss was relieved of his duties in north London after 17 months at the helm.

Mourinho’s departure came just six days before he was set to lead Spurs into a Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium, where the capital club will attempt to end their 13-year wait for a major trophy.

During his time with Tottenham, the 58-year-old Portuguese boss reportedly had a strained relationship with several first-team stars, including Dele Alli and Gareth Bale.

However, according to The Athletic, things had got so bad at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium towards the end of Mourinho’s reign that only Kane stayed loyal to the enigmatic manager, although the news came as no surprise to the club’s fans.
