Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting on Twitter after a picture of Dele Alli’s new haircut surfaced online.

It’s been a tough season for the 25-year-old, who has started just two Premier League games all season, failing to register any goals or assists in the top flight.

Jose Mourinho’s recent departure may be the start of a new chapter for the attacking midfielder after enduring a difficult relationship with the Portuguese boss during his time in north London, and Alli has begun this fresh start with a bang.

The England international turned up to a Spurs training session sporting dreadlocks, leading to Serge Aurier uploading a picture of Alli with the caption ‘Boby is back’, although the Tottenham supporters don’t appear to be too keen on the new look.

“More hair cuts than goals. Guy’s on my last nerve”

@92pds

“Would prefer it if he was playing some proper football”

@J_Crptr

“I think Dele should concentrate less on stuff like this and more in rediscovering the form that made his name few yrs ago”

@nicktaylor721

“I would rather he concentrated on getting back to his best”

@blower_keith

“Horrific”

@watson_THFC

“Should worry less about his hair and more about his football.”

@AaronJEng1

It’s hard to see how the fans can make a direct correlation between getting a new haircut and a lack of effort and desire on the pitch, but it’s clear many have, and Alli will have to try and silence his doubters between now and the end of the season.
