A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the latest transfer rumour to emerge ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has announced he will be leaving the club in the summer, and The Telegraph has reported the Argentine would be open to a move to Spurs.

Tottenham’s Harry Kane is also being linked with a move away this summer, with Manchester City reported to be interested in the 27-year-old.

The north London side were believed to be in the running for the Argentine striker in the past, however, he made the move from Atletico Madrid to City in the summer of 2011 instead.

In response to the rumours linking their club with a move for Aguero, many fans flocked to a tweet to give their thoughts on the claim.

“I’d take him in a heartbeat”

“This would be amazing man always loved Aguero”

Aguero has struggled with injuries this season and as a result, the 32-year-old has only made nine appearances in the Premier League – scoring just once (via Transfermarkt).

Going off the replies from the Spurs fans, it seems they would be happy to see Aguero join in the summer as a backup to Harry Kane with the future of Carlos Vinicius unknown as his loan deal is set to end at the conclusion of this season.
