Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been reacting on Twitter after a post provided an update from Fabrizio Romano on Paulo Dybala’s contract situation.
The 27-year-old has reportedly been tracked by Spurs for several seasons now, but fresh links have surfaced in recent weeks suggesting the north London outfit are once again interested in signing the South American.
Dybala is set to enter the final 12 months of his contract at Juventus over the summer, and Romano revealed on his Here We Go podcast (23:37) that the Argentina international has failed to reach an agreement on a new deal with the Old Lady.
“Get him in”
“Ahhhhhhhhhhh it’s happening”
“Get him Spurs”
“DESTINY STILL ARRIVES”
“Get him and Aguero in!!!”
Dybala has struggled to find his best form throughout 2020/21, scoring just four goals and providing only two assists all season, however, his quality is undeniable, and he would be a great signing for Tottenham if they manage to finally pull this one off.
It should be noted that Romano went on to suggest that there was no indication of any team being close to securing Dybala’s signature – but it seems clear that such a move would have the support of plenty of fans.
