Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a tweet relaying Sky Sports’ latest claim surrounding the club’s search for a new permanent manager.
Spurs have been without a permanent manager for over a week now after Daniel Levy ended Jose Mourinho’s 17-month stint at the north London club.
Was Erik ten Hag your number one choice?
Yes
No
One name which has been reported to be near the top of Levy’s list to replace the 58-year-old was Erik ten Hag; however, the Dutch manager extended his stay with Ajax on Friday with a new deal.
Following the announcement, Sky Sports claimed Spurs are not expecting to announce a new manager before the end of the Premier League season, which was the opposite of what was reported by Alasdair Gold earlier this week.
In response to the tweet, Spurs fans flocked to vent their anger as their hopes of seeing a new manager before the end of the season has reportedly taken a knock.
“No plan at all. What a shambles”
It appears Ten Hag is now off the cards for Spurs and much to the dismay of these Spurs fans. With just weeks left of the 2020/21 campaign now, can Spurs find their new manager before the end of the season?
