A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a post from their club, which contains information on season tickets for the 2021/22 season.
The post also contains a link to their website with more details on how fans can renew their season tickets for next season from this Monday.
However, these Tottenham fans are fuming at this post, with some blasting the timing of the announcement given that as yet, fans are not permitted to attend any games – while others expressed their disappointment over the club’s campaign:
“Demanding the full amount up front before there is any indication that stadiums will be open with 100% capacities from the start of next season is very poor.”
“Absolutely ridiculous wanting full payment before confirming that we can all attend! This should have been scattered until we have confirmation everyone can attend!”
“Wow this is special even by your standards spurs”
Do you think this was a good idea?
No, poorly timed
Yes, it is fine
Spurs have had an odd season so far; they are currently in sixth place in the Premier League, three points off the top four and have a cup final to play near the end of this month.
However, they have been knocked out of both the Europa League and the FA Cup, so we can see why these Spurs fans are annoyed.
“This club”
“I won’t renew my membership or buy tickets if Mourinho is still there. Hope Levy will take the right decision…”
“I’d rather you liquidate.”
Still, we are surprised that so many Tottenham fans appear to be so negative to this news, given that most of the season has been played behind closed doors.
It will be interesting to see how many people renew their season tickets on Monday, but judging by these responses, numbers could be down.
