Tottenham’s poor form led to Jose Mourinho’s dismissal just six days before the Carabao Cup final, and it appears likely that several of his former players could follow the Portuguese manager out of the exit door.
According to the Daily Mail, Sanchez could depart the capital club in the upcoming transfer window, with Lyon’s Joachim Andersen being lined up as a replacement after impressing during his loan spell at Fulham this season.
Sanchez joined the north London outfit in what was a club-record £42m move from Dutch giants Ajax back in 2017 but judging by the reaction of the Tottenham faithful, they won’t be sad to see the back of the Colombia international.
“Best news I heard today”
“Finally some good news this week”
“Praise the lord”
“I beg this is true”
“WE ARE WINNING THE LEAGUEEEEEEE”
Sanchez has made nearly 150 appearances for Tottenham throughout his time at the club, and Spurs could demand a large fee for the centre-back, who still has three years left to run on his current contract and is valued at £31.5m (as per Transfermarkt).
