Starting with a relatively recent player. Who is this?

The Chronicle relays news from the news agency about Mike Ashley’s stance on the bid, and it seems as if, in his view, the takeover is completed and just needs the approval of the (PA via The Chronicle).

Therefore, talk of James Pallotta holding an interest in the club has had no impact on Ashley as he is committed to selling the club to the consortium that he agreed a deal with nearly 12 months ago.

This has drawn the attention of these Toon fans, who are hoping for good news.

@DennyBaldwin

@KTD89

“It’s all lies and a complete joke now.”

@DiscoDan18

It is unclear what will happen with the ongoing arbitration case, but it is clear that some Toon fans still hold some hope for this takeover eventually happening, which is good to see.
