A lot of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to vent their anger following the latest injury news to emerge from the club.

Scottish winger Ryan Fraser has been ruled out of the Magpies’ clash against West Ham on Saturday afternoon by Steve Bruce as a result of a groin injury he picked up whilst on international duty against the Faroe Islands.

Fraser joined the Tyneside club last summer on a free from Bournemouth following their relegation back to the Championship.

However, the 27-year-old has failed to find the back of the net for Steve Bruce’s side in his 18 appearances in the Premier League this season (via Transfermarkt).

It was clear from the reaction the tweet from the official club account received that a lot of their fans have been left frustrated by the Scottish winger.

“Played three games in a row for Scotland, has he ever played three games in a row for us?”

Fraser scored twice in the two games he played for Scotland in their World Cup qualifiers with a goal in each of their games against Israel and the Faroe Islands.

It appears these Newcastle fans are frustrated by the winger with a lot of them feeling they do not see the same player in the black and white shirt as they do in the Scottish national shirt.
