Looking at the replies to this post, it appears that these Newcastle fans would be happy to see Martinez replace Bruce this summer.

Given how Bruce has guided Newcastle to just being two points ahead of the relegation zone of the Premier League table with nine league games left to play, it’s understandable why these supporters would be delighted at seeing him leave the club at the end of the season.

Also, taking into account how Martinez has previously taken charge of 265 games in the Premier League as a manager, his experience managing in the top flight could put him in a good position to become Newcastle’s next manager if Bruce were to leave.
