Lots of Newcastle United fans have let their thoughts known on Twitter regarding the second-half display of Paul Dummett in their Premier League game against Burnley.
Fulham’s 1-0 defeat at home to Wolves on Friday evening offered Steve Bruce’s side a great opportunity to pull six points clear of the Cottagers with a win at Turf Moor.
However, the Magpies entered half time with a mountain to climb after Matej Vydra’s goal gave the Clarets a 1-0 lead.
The game against Sean Dyche’s side was just the 29-year-old’s eighth Premier League appearance of the season after suffering numerous injury setbacks throughout the campaign.
And despite having turned the scoreline around in the second half, the Toon Army let their thoughts known on Twitter and it was clear they were not encouraged by his display in the second half.

Dummett has started the previous four Premier League games before the clash at Turf Moor for Bruce with the only one defeat coming away to Brighton & Hove Albion in those games.
All in all, it is evident Dummett did not leave a great impression on these Newcastle fans with his display at Turf Moor with some questioning his place in the starting XI.
