A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a post from Mehrdad Ghodoussi that followed on from the Toon’s 2-1 win over Burnley.
Newcastle beat Sean Dyche’s side thanks to goals from Jacob Murphy and Allan Saint-Maximin to move six points clear of the relegation zone and this result clearly pleased Ghodoussi, who tweeted ‘Get in lads!!!‘
This post drew the attention of many Toon fans, who are begging he sorts the takeover.

Ghodoussi is a member of PCP Capital Partners and was going to be a board member if the proposed takeover by PCP, PIF and the Reuben brothers had gone through.
There is still hope that it might with the club currently challenging the Premier League over the takeover, and if they are successful, it is thought the consortium will bid again.
