A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a post from Keith Downie, which has relayed comments made by Steve Bruce ahead of the Toon’s game against Burnley.
Bruce claimed that he got home last Sunday had his “Sunday lunch“, and by the time he sat down, “Mitrovic had scored”, and by the time he had his “apple pie and custard, they’d lost 3-1”.
He then claimed that he couldn’t put himself “through it” when speaking about watching Fulham play against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
A win for Scott Parker’s men would have put Newcastle in the relegation zone, and it is clear that these comments have annoyed these Toon fans.
“He doesn’t have to put himself through it! It’s his lack of management skills that has put us in this mess!”
“The self awareness of this man has me in perpetual awe”
“Our own manager is trolling us.”
Were you annoyed by these comments?
Yes, no need
No, there is nothing wrong with them
This post continued to draw in Newcastle fans who slated Bruce for these comments.
“How tragic”
“Just one big joke to Bruce isnt it”
“I’m speechless.”
The relegation battle is really heating up now, and though comments like these are intended to be a bit of good fun, we can see why so many Newcastle fans are annoyed because Bruce has guided them to two wins in all competitions since the 12th of December, which is terrible.
So, it is no wonder these Toon fans are not in the mood for Bruce’s comments.
