This comes after the official Newcastle Twitter account shared a post on their page that contained two images of the shot-stopper during the clash at Anfield with two clapping emojis in the caption of the post.

Newcastle originally signed Dubravka on a loan deal back in the 2018 January transfer window from Sparta Prague before securing him on a permanent deal in the following summer window for a fee of £3.6 million. Since then, the 32-year-old, who is currently valued at £5.4 million, has made 98 appearances for the Tyneside club in which he has managed to keep 27 clean sheets along the way (per Transfermarkt).
