Starting with a relatively recent player. Who is this?

Ghodoussi, Amanda Staveley’s husband, who was set to be on the board of the new-look Newcastle United if the proposed takeover by PCP Capital Partners, PIF, and the Reuben brothers had gone through, claimed that watching the Newcastle match was “stressful“.

This drew the attention of these Toon fans who flocked to Ghodoussi’s post.

Do you think Ghodoussi and the consortium will get the takeover done?

No, it won't happen

No, it won't happen

The takeover involving Ghodoussi and Staveley is not dead yet as the club are currently going through an arbitration case against the Premier League, which, if successful, will allow the consortium to bid again.

Ghodoussi’s post continued to draw in excited Newcastle fans who urged him to get the takeover done.

Been a stressful 12 month Get it done!!”

You have the cure to the stress Mehrdad make it happen.”

It is unclear what will happen with the arbitration case, but the Toon had failed to have two of their requests passed before the case even started in March, and nothing has been heard since.

However, it is clear that Ghodoussi has a keen interest in Newcastle, judging by most of his tweets, and these Toon fans are hoping that the takeover is completed.
